Order of Play is by seeding. Players with equal handicaps are placed alphabetically.

 

PLEASE ALLOW 5 MINUTES TO GET TO THE 1st TEE.

 

Bacon baps, coffee etc. will be available from 7.15 am cash sale.

 

CONDITIONS OF PLAY

 

  • 1. Handicap certificates must be produced before a competitor leaves the course at the end of the competition.
  • 2. Report to the starter at least five minutes before tee off time. Late on the tee Rule 6-3 applies, with the addition of Rule 33-1 (should a player arrive at her starting point, ready to play, within 5 minutes after her starting time the penalty for late on the tee is 2 strokes at the first hole.) The Committee will take into consideration any reported major traffic disruptions in individual cases.
  • 3. 36 holes stroke play for trophies and prizes to be presented after the final.
  • 4. The first 16 qualifiers from the 36 holes stroke play will play in the Championship. The next best 16 will qualify for the 2nd flight.
  • 5. The match play stages will take place on May 15th and 16th.
  • 6. Tees for the day - RED markers.
  • 7. Approved ball must be played.
  • 8. It is not permissible to use a Distance Measuring Device.
  • 9. In the event of extreme weather conditions or course being unfit to play the following signals will be used; 1 prolonged blast of the klaxon for suspension of play and 2 blasts for resumption of play.
  • 10. The Committee whose decision will be final shall settle any disputes. The Committee will consist of the President, County Captain, & Competition Secretary.
  • 11. A competitor withdrawing after the closing date must inform the organiser Lin Smith: Tel.01954-710207 - who will do her best to find a substitute.
  • 12. Entry fees are non-refundable after the closing date unless a substitute can be found.
  • 13. Courtesy of the course has been granted to competitors for ONE PRACTISE ROUND ONLY on TUESDAY OR THURSDAY AFTERNOONS prior to the competition. Please telephone the Pro Shop on 01799-527728 with your request to play. Please check in and sign the book in the Professional's shop. No players or caddies to have dogs on the course.
  • 14. For the first day only, lunch and evening meal are included in the entry fee. Vegetarian meals should be pre-booked. Coffee on arrival and at lunchtime is a cash sale. Caddies' meals should be ordered with Lin Smith on 01954-710207 or email linsmith73@hotmail.com by Tuesday 4th May at the latest.
  • 15. Shorts are not allowed in the dining room or lounge after 8 pm. Blue denim clothing is not permitted. Trousers and shorts must be tailored. No trainers in the dining room or lounge.
