PLEASE ALLOW 5 MINUTES TO GET TO THE 10th TEE.

CONDITIONS OF PLAY

  

1. Handicap certificates must be produced before a competitor leaves the course at the end of the competition.

2. Report to the starter at least five minutes before tee off time. Late on the tee Rule 6-3 applies, with the addition of Rule 33-1 (should a player arrive at her starting point, ready to play, within 5 minutes after her starting time the penalty for late on the tee is 2 strokes at the first hole.) The Committee will take into consideration any reported major traffic disruptions in individual cases.

3. 36 holes stroke play for trophies and prizes to be presented after the final on 20 May.

4. The first 16 qualifiers from the 36 holes stroke play will play in the Championship. The next best 16 will qualify for the 2nd flight.

5. The match play stages will take place on May 19th and 20th.

6. Tees for the day - RED markers.

7. Approved ball must be played.

8. It is not permissible to use a Distance ONLY Measuring Device.

9. In the event of extreme weather conditions or course being unfit to play the following signals will be used; 2 short blasts of the klaxon for suspension of play and 1 long blast for resumption of play.

10. All ties decided on a count back over the last 9, 6, 3 and 1 holes on the card.

11.Trousers and shorts must be tailored. Shirts must have collars. Shoes must be spiked or rubber soled golf shoes. Jeans and trainers are not permitted.

12. The Competition Committee whose decision will be final shall settle any disputes.

13. A competitor withdrawing after the closing date must inform the organiser Lin Smith: Tel.01954-710207 - who will do her best to find a substitute.

14. Entry fees are non-refundable after the closing date unless a substitute can be found.

15. Buggies are only allowed on medical grounds. A medical certificate must be forwarded to the organiser at least 7 days before the event.

16. Courtesy of the course has been granted to competitors for ONE PRACTISE ROUND ONLY on the following days: 

17. For the first day only, lunch and evening meal are included in the entry fee. Vegetarian meals should be pre-booked. Coffee on arrival and at lunchtime is a cash sale. Caddies' meals should be ordered with Lin Smith on 01954-710207 or email linsmith73@hotmail.com at least 7 days in advance.
