County Championship at Ely City Golf Club
on May 18th, 19th & 20th 2012 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
1. 36 holes stroke play with 16 leading qualifiers playing in match play stages of Championship and next 16 qualifiers playing in match play stages of Second Flight. Automatic Draw, with all ties settled on countback.
2. Handicap limit 18 actual.
3. Entries limited to 60 (if over subscribed, high handicaps balloted out).
4. The Champions Cup presented in memory of Miss Johnson.
5. Runners-up Trophy presented by H & M Maddocks in 1981.
6. County Plate presented by Mrs N Richmond in 1979 for the winner of the Second Flight (originally given to the winner in a subsidiary competition in the Championship).
7. Second Flight Runner-Up Trophy presented by Mrs N Richmond in 1979.
8. The Allen Newport Trophy presented by Margery Newport for the best scratch score for the two qualifying rounds (originally presented for the best performance in the County Team during County Week).
9. Additional prizes.
10. Entry fee £30. Entries close on 18th April.
