Conditions of Play

 

1.             18 holes Medal Play.  Audrey Nicole Cup – best net score.

 

2.             Current active handicap certificate must be produced before the competitor completes her round, i.e. before leaving the course, failure to do so will make a player ineligible for a prize.

 

3.             Report to starter at least 5 mins before tee off time – late on the tee Rule 33-1 applies, if a player is on the tee ready to play within 5 minutes of the original tee time a 2 stroke penalty will be applied.  The Committee will monitor any major traffic problems in the area and use its discretion in individual cases.

 

4.             Approved ball must be played.

 

5.             Lunch included in the entry fee.  Coffee on arrival – cash sale.

 

6.             All ties decided on a count back over the last 9, 6, 3 and 1 holes on the card.

 

7.             Dress: Trousers and shorts must be tailored. Shirts must have a collar. Golf shoes can have metal or soft spikes. Jeans are not permitted. Please change for the meal.

 

8.             Tees for the day - RED MARKERS

 

9.             The Competition Committee will monitor the pace of play and will take action under the Rules of Golf if players are considered to be delaying play.  It is the duty of every player to keep up with the game in front and not just in front of the game behind.

 

10.         The Competition Committee whose decision shall be final will settle any disputes.

 

11.         A competitor withdrawing after the closing date must inform the organizer (telephone Judy Northrop on 01480 390309) who will then do her best to find a substitute of similar handicap.  Entry fees are not refundable after the closing date unless a substitute is found.

 

12.         Competitors with caddies requiring catering must make their own arrangements with the host Golf Club - (Tel.01487 540740) at least 7 days before the event.

 

13.         Buggies are only allowed on medical grounds.
