General Interclub Team Matchplay Conditions 2009

1. It is expected that all individual matches shall be played and every effort should be made to ensure this. No match may be conceded before the day of play and whole ties may not be conceded.
2. Players may shelter in bad weather and leave the course if necessary. If conditions allow, play should resume on the same day from the point of disruption. If resumption is impossible the results of completed matches stand but incomplete matches must be replayed over 18 holes. A club may alter its original team except that no player from a completed match may play. Captains shall be responsible for the decision to resume or call off play. Incomplete matches not replayed will be deemed null and void.
3. The Assistant Competition Secretary and the opposition should be informed when a buggy is to be used
4. All relevant General Competitions Conditions must be upheld.

Inter-Club Scratch League 2009

1. Each division will consist of not more than five clubs, resulting in a maximum of eight matches
2. All matches played off scratch. A team will consist of three players declared in playing handicap order, lowest first
3. Any team member not present by fifteen minutes after the first tee time should concede her individual match to the opposition
4. Matches will be played home and away, with two points for a win or a conceded match, and one point for a half. The winning margin of each individual match must be recorded. No winning margin for a match conceded without being played
5. In the event of a tie at the end of the season, the overall results of the teams concerned when playing each other will decide the result. If still a tie, the number of points scored against each other, then the winning margins against each other and then their total winning margins will decide. If still no decision, the Assistant Competition Secretary must ensure that a deciding match is arranged on a neutral course
6. At the end of the season, the winning team in Divisions 2 & 3 moves up to the next division and the bottom team(s) in Divisions 1 & 2 moves down to the next division. Teams joining the league in future years, will be assigned to the lowest division
7. Matches to be played on Tuesday evenings, if possible, starting between 5 pm and 5.30 pm, between 1st April and 30th September
8. No player may represent more than one club during the season
9. Results to be forwarded to the Assistant County Competitions Secretary
