We hope the presentation will take place at approximately 3.30pm.
Conditions of Play
1. 18 Holes medal played in threes for the Veteran's Cup-Best Scratch Score; President's Salver-Best Net Score; Senior Veteran's Cup- Best Scratch Score Veterans 69 and over. 2. Handicap certificates must be produced before the start of play or before a competitor leaves the course at the conclusion of her round. Failure to do so will make a player ineligible for a prize. 3. Report to the starter at least 5 minutes before tee off time. Late on the tee Rule 6-3 applies with the exception of: a competitor who is ready on the tee to play within five minutes of her original starting time will incur a 2 stroke penalty and not disqualification. The Committee at its discretion will deal with disruptions caused by major traffic accidents in the County. 4. An approved ball must be played. 5. Distance measuring devices are not permitted. 6. A two course lunch with coffee is included. At all other times coffee will be available as a CASH SALE. 7. All ties will be decided on a count- back over the last 9, 6, 3 and 1 holes on the card. 8. Action in the event of Severe Weather: Should lightening or severe weather conditions occur one long blast on the klaxon will mark the closure of the competition. Players are to mark and then lift their ball and leave the course or go to a place of safety. Two short blasts will re-start the competition. The starters will brief players at the 1st and 11th tees on this policy and the competition restart procedures. 9. Dress Rules: - Ladies are permitted the wearing of properly tailored shorts of a respectable length. Polo shirts or sleeveless shirts with a collar and golf shirts with a crew neck style are permitted; shirts should be tucked in unless they are tailored. - Smart casual is the standard of dress to be aimed for and applied within the general environs of the Clubhouse. - All forms or style of waterproof clothing are excluded from the public rooms and must be restricted to the golf course, changing rooms and entrance hall. - Golf shoes are not permitted in the public rooms of the Clubhouse except in the changing rooms. 10. Tees for the day - RED MARKERS. 11. Any disputes to be settled by the Competition Committee whose decision shall be final. 12. A competitor withdrawing after the closing date MUST inform the organiser (Sue Cook Tel. 01480 473074). The organiser will do her best to find a substitute. Entry fees are non refundable after the closing date unless a substitute can be found. Buggies are only allowed on medical grounds, certificates should be produced and the organiser MUST be contacted in advance. 13. Senior Veterans (age 69 and over). Please indicate eligibility by ensuring your card is marked SV. 14. Players are responsible for organising meals for their caddies at least 3 days before the event. 15. Please ensure you keep up with the game in front and not just in front of the game behind.

SPECIAL NOTE: It would be appreciated if players could have their meal within a reasonable time of finishing their game to assist with the smooth running of the catering.
