Miranda Brain was the Champion for the 4th time and took the coveted Scratch Salver with a score of 150 (74+76) for the day. This included an eagle 3 on the final hole of her round. Sarah Smith took the Handicap Cup with a nett score of 145 (73+72).
The 18-hole Stableford was a hard fought battle between Chloe Ashman and Sophie Nicoll with Chloe winning on count-back when both girls came in with magnificent scores of 48 points each. They've both cut their handicaps by 6 shots!
The venue was superb and the weather couldn't have been better. 20 girls entered the girls championship at the Gog Magog Old Course this year with many making their debut. Three events took place:

18-hole Stableford Trophy
9-hole Trophy
The 9-hole trophy was won by first time entrant Chiara Hallam with a solid score of 19 points.
The Biddy Wade Trophy winner was announced as Laura Tuttle from Links, Newmarket with a fabulous average of 7.25. This score also won her a place to represent the East Region in the final of the Abraham Trophy, which is being played just before the English Girls Golf Championship at Market Rasen Golf Club, Lincolnshire on Monday 26th July.
