Rose Bowl Success for Brampton

Brampton Park put in a fine performance to win the Cambs and Hunts Ladies County Golf Associations’ Mary Cole Rose Bowl played at Lakeside Lodge.
In ideal conditions the team of Lesley Ince (75), Megan Taylor (66) and Karen Cox (74) won the 18 hole stroke play team event with a magnificent score of 215. They were four ahead of Cromwell whose team of Yve Bishop (75), Josie Pilsworth (74) and Beth McCarthy (70) took second place with a team score of 219.
The best individual nett scores of the day were the 66 of Megan Taylor who reduced her handicap to 5.5 and the 67 scored by St Neots Rosemary Farrow.
