Victory for Cambs & Hunts over Bedfordshire

The Cambs & Hunts 1st and 2nd Junior County girls golf teams both strolled home to victory with a 4-2 win for the 1st team and a full house of 3-0 for the 2nd team. The match was played at Brampton Park in windy, but dry conditions. The 1st team played singles matchplay and the 2nd team played foursomes matchplay.
The line-up for the teams were as follows:
1st team:
Chelsey Herbert (Captain) (Gog Magog)

Claire Tuttle (Links, Newmarket)
Laura Tuttle (Links, Newmarket)
Katie Nicoll (Menzies)
2nd team:
Megan Taylor (Brampton Park) and Harriet Haywood (St Ives)
Laura Howard (St Ives) and Chalani Allen (Gog Magog)
Megan Willis (Old Nene) and Chloe Ashman (Ely City)
County Junior Organiser, Marcella Tuttle commented: "This is a good result for us and it will be a nail biting final match against Norfolk next Sunday (22nd Aug) at the Norfolk Golf & Country Club, as it looks like Cambs & Hunts need a 6-0 victory in order to share the East Region trophy with Essex".
